Twitter promotes Facebook movie!
By Charles-Henry Ruyant
Sony is promoting it’s latest movie “You Don’t Get To 500 Million Friends Without Making A Few Enemies” on Twitter. This film is about the life of the Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg.

Sony is using the new Twitter advertising program, where you can promote a trend or a tweet for a specific trend.
It is pretty ironic that Twitter is promoting a movie about Facebook, a competitor, via promoted trends and tweet call #socialmedia!
In other hand, shouldn’t Sony have promoted this movie on a Facebook fan page!?

Life in a Day: the first movie created by YouTube users!
By Charles-Henry Ruyant
Ridley Scott (director of blockbusters ‘Alien’,’ Robin Hood ‘etc) and YouTube are working together to create an amazing experimental movie. On the 24th of July, people from across the globe are going to film an account of their day, and post the video on YouTube.
Ridley Scott will select the most interesting videos and will edit them together in order to make a movie about different people’s lives on this date.
This film will be a time capsule for the future and tell people how we used to live in 2010, with the unfortunate exception of few countries banned by the US (Cuba, Iran, South Korea…).
So if you have a video recorder you should go on YouTube and look for Life in a Day!
Amazon UK launches its grocery website
By Charles-Henry Ruyant
Amazon recently launched its grocery delivery service in the UK, following it’s success in the US and, most recently, in Germany. Amazon will now be a direct competitor to Tesco, Ocado and many more. Due to excellent SEO and PPC visibility, Amazon is almost certain to succeed. From a more technical point of view, Amazon is using the same shopping cart software as on the rest of it’s website.
One thing is sure is going to be a big online marketing battle between all these competitors who have plenty of money…
